Be content with what you have: Hebrews:13:5.
This is a scripture piece on being content with what you have, and not putting any earthly possessions before God.
Hebrews 13:5 says, ‘Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for He has said’, “I will never forsake you.”
This scripture piece says it best don’t put your love of money and any other earthly possessions above God. When we came into this world we had nothing but Gods love, and the amazing gift of family given to us by God. As we grow older we learn to love others such as our family and eventually our friends too. Then after that we develop a love for money and many other possessions as well. There is nothing wrong with loving all of these things. I mean who doesn’t love money right? However the sad reality is that people become greedy for things such as money, and that’s when people put their love for money above their love for God.
In my opinion you only need to put your faith in God, for God will provide you with what you need to survive. God always sticks to his promises. He said in the scripture piece above “I will not forsake you.” If he said that he will not forsake you, then trust me he will not forsake you. All God wants is for you to put your faith in him always. If you put your trust in God you will never be sorry you did.
Don’t worry so much about how you will be able to live from day to day, and how you will be able to pay all your bills. Ask God to help you. When you ask God for something he hears you and will answer your prayer. When you Pray also remember to thank God for always providing you with the money you have needed in the past and for all the money you will have in the future. Be content with what you have, for God has given it all to you, and he shall not forsake you.
