God gives us all that we have, he is in us, we are in him: John 17
John 17: 20 says “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one- as you are in me, father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.”
In this scripture piece, Jesus is praying. That all people will stand together in their conviction, that all people are one in Jesus, because he is in the Father, and the Father is in him, and in us.
However the Corinthian Christians had formed themselves into different support groups and thought one teacher to be better than the others. These people failed to see that all ministry comes from God and should be treated the same, and should be appreciated for what it is.
These people were playing these teachers one against the other, conflicts had also arisen. However they soon learned, that while each teacher is unique they are all a gift from God. They were all working along with the God who they knew, was in them.
Appreciate all the many gifts that God has given to you. May you realize that you are in God, and he is in you. Be like the teachers in Corinth and help others to see, that we are all one with Christ no matter how different we may be. Don’t ever forget to do all that you do through Christ and with Christ.
