An Inspirational piece:The right time and place to say grace.
If you are a religious person of any sort, I’m sure that as a child your parents taught you to say traditional grace at the dinner table before eating. My parents definitely taught me how. If you can remember. It goes as follows “For what we are about to receive may the Lord make us truly grateful amen.”
It is of course great to say grace before eating dinner, but what about before starting your work or school day? You could also say grace before meeting a friend for coffee or going on a date with your partner, maybe even before heading out on your family vacation or just to take the dog out for a stroll in the park.
One thing that is important to know is that there is always a time and place to say grace. It should not matter what you are about to do, you should always feel that you would like to say grace. Grace is a wonderful way to give thanks wherever possible.
When you give thanks for what you are about receive, then you are already placing your order for what you are about to receive and sure enough it will come to you. It’s like being at a restaurant and saying grace before you get your meal and before you know it you are enjoying your delicious meal. So don’t forget to give thanks and say grace whenever and wherever you can. Saying grace is the best form of gratitude and gratitude always creates abundance in your life. Go on say grace now! There really couldn’t be a better time or place to say grace.
