The rainbow after the storm: Genesis:8.
This scripture piece from Genesis, is about making sure you always see the rainbow.
Genesis:8-21: Says, “I will never again curse the ground because of the human race, even though everything they think or imagine is bent toward evil from childhood. I will never again destroy all living things.”
We all know that in life we have to weather many storms. This is a fact that we do not like to think about, but we all know that’s it’s true. This brings to mind a line from a song that I really love. It says “Through the calm and through the storm you never give up on us, Lord you never give up on us.” We all know by now that after a storm comes the most magnificent rainbow. For those who don’t know, it is a symbol of God saying that he shall never ever flood the earth again.
However for me this has always been a sign, that God will deliver us out of any difficult situation that we may face, and he shall take us to a much better place. What I want you to do when a so called ‘storm’ has hit, is to think of the rainbow and to know, if God could stop a forty year long flood, then he surely can deliver you to a ‘storm-free place.’
When you next see a rainbow, thank God for his promise to never again destroy all living things, and also for bringing you out of each and every difficult situation like only he can. Remember to look for the rainbow after the storm, it will always be there even if you can’t always see it. Just like God shall always deliver you from your ‘storm’ even though you can’t see him doing it.
